Resolved Question: Please help me pick an AMERICAN FOOTBALL team!?

ok I have watched American Football on tv here in the UK for years and loved it but I have never ever picked a team and feel that I should! I do loosely follow the NY Giants as I love New York (I don't know why I chose the Giants over the Jets so apologies to any New York Jets fans I may have offended there!) Should I stick with the Giants or pledge allegiance to another team?! Im originally from Ireland, do any teams have any Irish connections? If I stay with a New York team should I stick with New York or go with the Jets? Everybody I know follows football (soccer) so I have nobody to ask their opinion of, so my ultimate question is this: What team do you support and why?
